Default Adding knock sensor to 2g Prelude

Hey guys, I have a 2g Si with the FI A20. I am in the process of boosting it and would like to add a knock sensor. I imagine it can't be too hard as the p06 I'm using has an input for the sensor. As far as install location on the block and type of sensor needed I am unsure. I know knock sensors pick up certain frequencies and knock won't necessarily be the same frequency in every engine. Anyone have any experience with this? Is it even needed in my situation or just a peace of mind thing? I would like my ecu to pull timing when needed so I don't have to go through so much trial and error in Crome. Thanks for your input!
