Default Is there a harness to install radio 6 cd on honda accord 2003

Hi all,

Is there an harness to install a radio with 6 cd?

My console got two connectors one for air control and they other for the radio.

My honda accord 2003 supply two cables to hook in the console .

The other console that I want to install , Its holding the radio with 6cd and has three connectors. Maybe the radio with 6cd is not for that year model or I cant install that kind of radio in my car (but the console for 6 cd has the same dimension as my original console)

Or the harness exist.

Please answer ay my questions, it will help me to stop or continued my quest.

Thank you verry much

Can you take some photos of both to show what your describing?

Most likely it will work, although there are different audio units and add-on audio accessories for the 2003 Accords, most have a 14-pin port (Connector B) from the main audio unit which can be connected to the 14-pin port on the audio accessories (e.g., CD-player, cassette player, etc.) with the proper harness cable.

Hi thank you for answering me, The only photos I have , is the one cd came with the car . The one I may have if it works , the only thing I know is that console have two green connectors (I can look with the scrapyard how many connectors he got).

If you have other question please ask

Okay, now I understand which connectors you're referring to; the green ones. Those are for the HVAC/Climate Control, not the audio unit.

No, it won't work as plug and play for the HVAC. Your car has manual HVAC, the unit with two green connector ports are for auto-climate control (like on EX-L models). There are other components, harness, etc. that are part of the climate control system.

I believe they have a Honda 6-cd player add-on that goes under the audio-unit (in-dash) and the Honda 8-cd player add-on that goes in the trunk.

Also, search ebay, there might be a Honda audio unit with the 6-cd player similar to the one you found; but, without auto-climate control. I am not sure about this though.

Thanks again for the support,

My main problem was that I wanted to change my radio , I don't have an illuminating light so I can't see the time and the radio channel at night.

Do you have a hint to fix this issue. Otherwise I leave it as it is

The backlight issue is due to a faulty circuit board; but, it can be repaired. There are youtube videos on how to fix it. You'll need to do some soldering to fix it though or find someone that can.

Hello

I decided to buy a Radio Boss 508UAB with a metra kit 99-7682.

I have a question for you before I start installing, For the task of connecting the harnesses between the radio connection (blue terminal). Would you have the diagram of connections to connect the harnesses to each other. Also Do I have to connect the radio honda chord anyway since it is no longer in use.

Thank again for your support
