Does anybody know the steps to installing a cd player in a 95 Accord LX 2d? If not for that specific car...what do I need to know to install a cd player in general?

 

remove cup holder....extract two screws from underneath...extract screw at an angle that holds entire center console to shifter bezel. ...remove cover plate inside center console....extract two screws there too. remove center console entirely. now extract two screws from black radio/shifter bezel. remove ashtray. now ull see a screw at the top area where the ashtray used to be and take it out. remove black bezel. now remove two 8 mm bolts that hold radio in bezel....unplug harness and remove radio and pocket combo. locate honda wiring harness and wire it up to your new cd player's wiring harness. locate honda multi-kit in order to install stereo. do not lose backstrap adapter that attaches to kit..it holds the stereo in the car. now mount cage in installation kit and install stereo using 2- 8 mm bolts that u just extracted. replace bezel and center console and put screws in to finish the job..should be done in less than an hour if this is ur first time. just remember to make good connections using crimp caps or solder and tape.....do not just use tape..that is freakin ghetto...do it the right way or dont do it at all as i like to say...any questions email me at the address below
