2000 civic si em1 daily build help!
Ive had this about a year and i want to make it a more powerful daily. Im torn between building the b16 or spending the $$ to k20a2 with mat hing 6 speed. Wanna keep it as reliable as possable wirh 300-400whp. Any help or suggestions is appreciated All Mods: 102k miles Skunk2 headers and ehxaust Skunk 2 control arms all the way around Skink 2 coilovers Short shifter Full audio system Anttheft alarm..
Streetable and reliable at 3-400 wheel horsepower in a Civic? Not likely. Whether you stuck with the B16 or went K-series, boost is your only option to reach those numbers... and to make it reliable, it is going to cost you a pretty penny.
IMHO you should sell it to me... then you can go get yourself a newer more powerful daily that satisfies your need for speed.
Send me an IM with some pics and we can work out a deal.

You will spend $10k by the time you swap in a K series and will still be under 200 HP. Like mentioned Boost will only be your option with either engine.
Buy a go auto works turbo kit and have it tuned on the dyno, you should make 300-350 hp and that will be more than enough power for your B16. E85 fuel will help keep you safer. If the engine is stock with no head studs stay under 10 psi or you risk blowing the head gasket or the block.
