hi . i have a 97 accord . and recently i realized the MANTENANCE light under the odometer is ORANGE . what color is it normally ? is it green ?

if that is so . waht is the possible causes / issues that my car might be having ? i just want to know before i take it to check up on it . thank you .

 

oh is that it ? . it got me worried for a while . how do i reset that light if i may ask ?

stick key in hole next/under the light, press inward, voila, reset

My friend took his wifes accord into a shop and asked them what it was. They told him they couldn't figure out what it was and they would need more time. So he goes to work and goes back after work and they tell him they needed to reset his ECU to get the light to reset and the bill was $90. A while later it came on again (of course, it's supposed too) so he asks me how to reset his ECU. I asked him why so he told me and all I did was walk over to his car, took a key out and pushed the button to reset it. He couldn't understand how until I made him look it up in his manual. Then he got really pissed cause he spent 90 bucks on nothing.
