Default 97 civic lx pilot bearing

Hey so I’ve been trying to do the tranny swap and I’ve ran into a problem. No matter what I try I can’t get this bearing in the crank. I tried freezing it greasing it and tapping. Any ideas?

is the number on the bearing "6002..."? the OD should be 32mm.

check for and remove burrs on the flywheel bore edge. it should be a snug fit, but shouldn't require a hydraulic press or anything.

Clean up the crank, make sure you have the correct bearing.
