Icon5 F23A1 Turbo Injector Recommendations?

What’s up y’all, I’m planning on adding a turbo kit to my Accord, but I’m struggling to find the right performance fuel injectors (most likely 440CC because I’m only planning on running 7 psi). The ones I see on eBay and other places are for the F23A5 non-VTEC. And the ones I see for my car are $70 ones from Chinese companies that I don’t know if I should trust.

I have a 98 LX 5-Speed, which is the F23A1. Would those injectors work for this too? Or could you guys recommend some?

I think you are ok. I used ebay to look, such as here:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/4PCS-NEW-OE....c100008.m2219

And simply put in the year car the engine came from, and it seems they are the same. This link even has the adapters to fit it if not a direct plug in.

Do DSM Eclipse 450cc fit directly on this engine? And if so, would I need to buy a resistor box? I'm planning on putting in a turbo kit and push 7 psi to be safe.

No. they do not. There are some alterations that are needed. You can get a resistor box from an F22A from the early 1990s and wire it in. Many of the archives may still have this information including a how-to, but the data might be scattered in a few places. Check the Honda-tech site via Google to try to find more detail.

Fewer and fewer people go this route, due to the other options available that are direct plug in. You spend more money, but you save a lot of time, and deal with fewer extra parts

Brand new, smaller size injectors can be had for dirt cheap. No need to use those old injectors.

Do you have any brand recommendations or links?

Are those eBay brand ones safe to use?

You might as well keep the DSM injectors before using the eBay stuff. I hope that you had those injectors cleaned and flow-benched before you decide to use them. Otherwise, it easily be "bye bye, engine".

I haven’t ordered any injectors as of yet. Was looking to see if I could find some brands people recommend. I saw a lot of people using DSM 450CC injectors, and I found them on eBay, so I wanted to see if those were hard to put in.

I've got a set of MR2 turbo injectors in my 200+ powered NA civic from 10 years ago that are still going strong. I do remember switching out the upper o-ring for them to fit into the stock rail. The issue with them is that you must be sure that they have been cleaned an inspected before purchasing. Originally I thought you meant you were purchasing eBay / Unknown manufacturer injectors on the eBay website. Just know who the seller is and that they have evidence that they were cleaned and flow-benched (like a receipt or something). They don't really sell those new.

Depending upon what you're trying to do, these will only go for about 230whp-300whp at maximum duty cycle, (which is what you don't want to be at ever) . So, again. look to your goals and when in doubt, Buy once, cry once, and get the right equipment. Don't just go for "the cheap deal". It will always cost you more later.
