Default Viper car alarm shock sensor plug in?

I was planning on getting a Viper alarm for my car from best buy and noticed that the models they carry have the shock sensor on the alarm brain instead of being a "plug in" with the Dei 504D. I was told a while back that the shock sensor on the alarm brain doesn't perform as well as the plug in module. Is there a way to add the a DEI 504D to the viper alarm where the shock sensor is on the brain?

The two models from bestbuy are: 3105V and the other model is the 350.

you can still wire any shock/motion sensor to the alarm. Use the "orange - ground when armed" wire for the ground, "blue -- instant trigger" for the output signal and of course power, which should be battery/constant 12VDC....RED.
