crx mysterious brake fluid leak
I have had my crx for a few years now and the biggest problem I have had is that the brakes feel like crap and have no bite at all. I am looking to go faster with it but need it to stop first. lol. I have replaced the calipers all around, brake master and slave cylinder since I have owned it. The problem is that it still loses brake fluid. If I drive it daily I would say I have to refill it once every week and a half. I dont see any fluid leaks anywhere. any input would be nice.
Thanks

This is all disc brake? Stock or aftermarket? What is the setup?
Sorry I meant to say brake master cylinder and booster. The brakes are all stock with hawk pads. It is an 89 si so disc all around.
Have you had the rear interior out? Noticed the carpet behind the seats being a little soggy? I've personally (and painfully) found with a Civic hatch that the brake lines will rust out just inside of the pass through to the rear wells, and it wicks out slowly enough that you may not realize until fabric starts getting saturated.
Though I suspect there's more at play here due to the scale of the leak, it's definitely worth taking a close look at the lines.

Hmm that may be something I can look into even thought it is a southern car. My carpet gets wet when it rains. That is another problem I have to look into. lol.
Thank you
Thank you
do you REALLY have rear discs? then they were swapped.
if you really arent seeing any fluid loss ANYWHERE, then its a bad master cylinder and its going into your booster vacuum and sucked into the intake.
replace MC.
It does have rear disc brakes. The master and booster are both new.
