Default 98 Honda Civic CX ball joints

I have a 98 CX 5spd with about 230k on it. I drove it for almost 2 decades, then my oldest kid drove it for a few years in high school. When I got back into it, I realized the clutch was burnt, brakes were gone, and it handles like mush. I'm trying to get everything ready to go for the next kid. So I'm slowly but surely replacing the clutch. While getting in there, I realized my lower control arm ball joints and tie rod ball joints are trashed....probably from oldest kids driving practices.

So my question is best replacement parts? Also, nothing has been done to the suspension in 22 years (possibly the shocks were replaced 10 years ago). Are there other things I should look at/test to replace in the suspension like bushings? If so what are good replacements? I plan to pull the tired old engine after my daughter is through with it and put in something more exciting, so for anything suspension wise, I'd want to go in between stock and race. I don't want a harsh ride, but do like better performance.

Thanks,

Brian
