Default Help me pass NYS emissions for the first time in a decade. 99 em1

Long story short I’ve been riding dirty with a built and boosted obd1 B18c gutter em1 for years. I’m old and figure I should be more responsible so I put the interior back in and sold my go fast stuff and built a b20vtec. It runs awesome on the obd1 ecu. Now I’m trying to get it to pass emissions.

I have a p75-a02 with a obd2b to obd2a conversion harness and when I unplug the obd1 ecu and plug in the on2b ecu and try to start it the fuel pump does nothing. No whine. If I crank it it will glug and briefly until the fire till the fuel is gone.

fuel pump is a walboro 255 but I doubt that had anything to do with it

pinout on the conversion harness is good, although the 2 wires from 2 pins are crossed into one into the ecu side. From what I’ve read, one is for Integra and the other is for civic. Should I clip the Integra one?

once I get this solved there will be more... subscribe if you want to go on this journey with me!

must be the conversion harness because I never ran into this problem unless there is something you're leaving that is not an EM1 part besides the b20/tach

What CEL codes are thrown with the OBD2 ECU?

haha that’s another thing brother! Serial port is dead. Replaced the fuse under the hood that controls it so I’m going to see if that did anything.

EDIT: I just have the standard cheapo scanner. No codes it claims. But it talks now!! That’s huge!

Wow! I must have confused this thread with another one. I deleted my post.

To pinpoint the problem, install the OBD2A ECU and do this test:

1) Unplug ECU connector A.

2) Use a wire to ground pin A16 (Grn/Yel wire) in the unplugged connector to the chassis or metal frame under dash.

3) Turn key to ON(II).

4) Listen for whether the fuel pump runs. It should.
