Default Car bogs down when pressing gas code 8 (1993 del sol)

Have a 1993 Honda del sol with 171k. It has a code 8 for the top dead center sensor in the distributor. Distributor is good and so are the plugs and wires (brand new).

just replaced:
fuel pump
fuel filter
pump relay
plug wires
plugs
ecu

So my question is why would my car bog down when I hit the gas? (Have videos) Seems to get worse the longer the car is on.Also what would cause the code 8 if the distributor and ecu are good? Also have a minor valve cover gasket leak but I don’t think that matters. All help is appreciated.

Ohm test the TDC sensor and also test for short or open in the TDC sensor wires from the ECU connector.

How do you know the distributor is "Good" ??? What tests have you done to prove that the distributor is in fact "Good" ???

Well a mechanic put in a known good distributor as a test and it didn’t get rid of the code 8. This was before the new ecu however , do u think if I tried a new distributor it might solve the issue given the new ecu?

For the sake of discussion, let's assume that the distributor and ECU are fine. This assumption would point to bad TDC wires or poor connector pin contacts between the ECU and distributor.

Do the TDC sensor wire Ohm tests I suggested. The tests would reveal a problem in any part of the TDC sensor circuit except for the ECU.

Alright I’ll give that a shot, do u know what the Ohms should read? I’m new at testing wires and don’t know very much.

At ECU connector
Between the two TDC pins: 350-700 Ohms
Individual pin tests for short to ground: No continuity to body ground for either pin
