My 96 accord has around 360k on it and I have never had the power steering fluid changed out. It was low so I put a little of the honda PS fluid I had into it but I was thinking to change out the fluid and wondered what the right steps are. Should I take a turkey baster and pull out whats there and place new OEM fluid in and drive a bit and change it once more? Also I have a hose at thge base of the reservoir that looks like it needs replacing but I didnt want to introduce air into the system and thought Id check with you all on this first. Everything is driving fine, no issues just a maintenance thought.

it's not like brakes. any air that gets in will work its way out through the reservoir on it's own.
drain what you can and get any residue out of the reservoir. Refill with Honda brand or Honda-compatible fluid. drive around a bit. repeat the drain-refill-drive until the fluid in the reservoir matches color and clarity coming out of the bottle. maybe not the most "economical" method, but it's the hardest to mess up.
I actually had a problem with my Accord- I also needed to replace the hose, but the problem is because my car is a RHD model, the LHD hoses do not reach far back enough to reach my steering rack. I was told to only use Honda PS fluid, as the other ones don't play nicely with the system. The leak isn't too bad right now, but does make a slight sound on startup.
I use the turkey baster method as well. Probably every 6 months or so I do a replacement of fluid from the reservoir, figuring each time I got a little more with new stuff.
Congrats on the mileage and good shape of the car!
I used a suction pump actually, you can get them for less than $10 on amazon. It allows me to get out most of the old fluid. The first time I did the flush the old fluid was crazy dirty!
