Swapping my manual honda motor to a auto motor
So i have a d15b i pulled put of my 5 speed car and bought a 4 door auto shell and need to know if i need to just take the flexplate off the auto 4 door motor and put it on the d15b or do i need to do some othere stuff need to know fast its the only motor i had laying around and need a new daily fast only thing i have to work with plz lmk somthing fast before i get to far
If your 5-speed car and your auto car are the same generation... then all you will need to do is swap the flywheel for the flex-plate. Differing generations may require an intake manifold swap as well. Provide the year and trim level of each chassis for more specific information.
Trim level ? Are both cars, for example, an "EX" ??? Throttle bodies are different for manual and auto EK applications, so it is probably "Easiest" to keep the intake manifold of the automatic chassis, along with the engine harness, and install it on the manual engine along with the auto flex plate.
