Default 1996 cx hatchback rear drum to disc conversion

Hi all, Im looking for either the conversion kit or used trailing arm disc break assembly that will fit my 96 cx hatch so I can get rid of the drums. I have googled without success other than finding the how to's but none of them have listed where to get the parts. Ebay listings are vague. The stickied posts showing what models are exchangeable dont mention hatchbacks, it does say all models I just want to make sure before buying used parts, having them shipped and they dont fit. Thanks

This is a fun topic to talk about as there are a bunch of different options you can use. Personally I've never used any conversion kit. I simply went to the junkyard and pulled what I needed.

You can use pretty much any 90's GEN Honda or Acura chassis that came equipped with disc brakes. Simply go to the junkyard, find the car that matches up with disc brakes, and pull the assembly off. Take the whole trailing arm assembly and e-brake cables; just in case.

I've personally used the rear disc conversion from the 91-00 Integra's, 94-95 Civic EX sedan, and the 99-00 Civic Si. The one thing I did make sure to do was get new e-brake cables from the 99-00 Civic Si; just my preference.

Before buying new parts online I would check your local junkyards to source the major parts.

I wish the stickies would get updated with pics maybe. I'd love to work on it if they would allow it.
