Hi, I own 03 Civic LX 1.7L SOHC and I am having trouble with my AC. As it is shown in the video, whenever I turn on my AC, it makes a weird noise. I still get the cool air though. I think it may be the AC compressor issue but wants to make sure. I appreciate your help guys!

Have you tried to pinpoint the location of the noise?

For example, does the noise come from under the hood or the dash? Once known, try to pinpoint further and then post pics of location.

 

The sound comes from this area. I am not certain if the top part or the compressor but I assume the sound is from the AC compressor.

 

Remove the A/C belt, and inspect the clutch armature plate and compressor pulley for excess free play. Also check whether the compressor seems loosely attached to the A/C bracket. If the noise is internal to the compressor, you will need to replace it.
