I bought this Alternator Repair Harness from Ebay. It should fit my Honda.
However, should i simply cut all 4 wires in the honda, remove the old green connector and do a "pigtail" connection?
However, if i pigtail then which wire should pair with which?
as you can see from the pictures the Honda has white and colored strips while the ebay connector has solid Red, Blue, Black and White connections.
any help would be great thank you!

I would replace the good pins from the green factory plug with the same position wires in the new Ebay plug... leaving the one damaged wire that you pulled out and connect the new plug wire to the original white/blue wire. This reduces the possibility of problems later since you haven't cut more wires than needed.

Forget the wire colors... the position is what is important. Start at a certain place and remove/move one wire at a time.

Hey thanks for the information man, really appreciate it!

I know this might seem obvious but i just wanted to make sure... Would there be any issues using butt splices to connect the wires?

i plan on connecting the wires using the method below:

if i connect it the wires i should be okay yes?

Yes, assuming you use a quality set of crimpers, butt connectors are a very good repair path.
