Sway Bar info
Hello, so I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to suspension stuff on the 92-95 Civic, especially like how sway bars affect performance. I recently purchased the Hardrace full suspension bushing kit and want to upgrade as many components as I can while it's all pulled apart, but I want to understand everything before I go acting like a boy racer. I noticed lots of rear sway kits for the EG, but front sways are much more rare. I read on a forum here that most civics of this generation did not come with rear sway bars, although mine did, and I assume it's like from an Integra or something given that I also have rear disc brakes. Anyway I was wondering what the pros and cons are of having front, rear, both, or neither sway bars. I also read that only having a rear sway bar can make the car dangerous to drive, and given my car's weird handling characteristics I wonder if that's the case. Also read that having an upgraded front sway bar can cause the rear to get wild during trail breaking. I guess what I'm asking is since I'm going for a handling based street car set up with my B20 hatch, what sway bar set-ups do you guys recommend, and from what companies? I appreciate any info you guys have, thanks!
