02 Accord Fuel Pump (usual suspects checked)
I have an 02 Accord. It was acting like it had a bad main relay, occasionally would crank but not start. Checked the relay and there was no visible issue, but replaced it. Still no power to fuel pump. Replaced the fuel pump, it ran for a day then started dying on the road. Thought I received a faulty pump, so I replaced the pump again. Also replace the 15a fuel pump fuse, and still no power to pump. I don't see any visible damage to wires, and I also tried cleaning all accessible contacts. Thoughts?
Verify your ignition switch isn't faulty.
Turn engine on, start jiggling the key.
If the engine cuts off, it's the ignition switch.
Also check the wire itself to the pump for power. Insulation can hide rotten copper.
