Icon7 Motor mount bracket question

Hey All!!

I've searched the forums briefly and couldn't find a rock solid answer. I'll keep it simple.

I have an EK Civic, D16 engine and motor mounts to match for EK. I bought an EG subframe (FCS Race). My understanding is rear T bracket must be swapped to EG due to subframe. Is this correct even though the Civic, itself is an EK?

And does anything else, motor mount bracket-wise, need to be swapped to EG?

Thank you in advance!

That's all you need for brackets. The steering racks and the lower control arms are different.

The EG subframe moves the rear mount a bit further back in the engine bay compared to the EK rear mount location, and thus, is WHY you need the EG rear "T" bracket (the top of the "T" is longer from front to back). No other engine/transmission mount/bracket changes will be necessary.

You both are gentlemen and scholars! Thank you very much and thank you even more for the explanation. I had wondered if the other brackets would need to shift the engine further back into the bay, but your explanation perfectly explains and answers that question for me also. Thank you, both, again!!
