D16z6 to d16y7 swap
I have a 1995 del sol s. I swapped a d16z6 p28 ECU into it and it recently died. I got a whole delsol with a rusted out body for cheap. 1997 del sol s with a d16y7. What do I need to wire and what ECU do I run to swap it into the 1995 d16z6.
I saw the thread.
92-00 Honda Engine Swap Wiring Guide VTEC AND NON VTEC
but I didn't see or im blind a category for d16z6 to d16y7 swap.
if anyone knows anything about the swap let me know. I'll keep looking and googling to see if I can find any answers.
Thanks in advance.

If you only use the head and block of the D16Y7, then you don't have to change any wiring. You will let the vtec plugs just hang and then use a P06 D15B7 ECU to run it. This will keep your setup as OBD1.
The D16Y7 is typically an OBD2 motor.

Just be aware it will be running a touch lean some of the time as it will be on a 1.5 liter map setup. So when it's not auto trimming through the O2 sensor, it will be a little lean, like WOT.
