Default Gas smell

Back seat area, full tank, guessing it's the infamous crack on the top of the fuel pump assembly, we'll know soon! (But not today)

Most online parts suppliers don't name the manufacturer of the pumps, so I'm at loss of which and who to choose from? I'm leaning towards 1A Auto,

TIA

Really tough getting answers on this forrum!

If anybody happens to see or read this what are your thoughts on the sellers on eBay selling fuel pumps? they seem to be the same quality but half the price as on Amazon prime

Spectra is an okay brand. you could have probably just done the Beck and Arnley filter setup previous poster posted up. your pump seems to be working fine.

Beck and Arnley is another quality reboxer, many times it's reboxed OEM if not they are sure to get OEM quality after markets to put into their brand.

I believe part of this issue is the 7th gen model is one of the least supported models stock wise being Honda really limited the engines on this model. Pretty much for enthusiasts, the only option for any major power gains is with a totally different engine that never came with these vehicles. You can do forced induction but the engines will only go so far where even a B series Honda motor will be able to be built to go soooo much further with forced induction. So bang for the buck, your motor is not very viable.

And even then, with engine swaps, the only one relatively straight forward on these cars is the K series, and K series is not cheap. Couple that with the heavier chassis, it's not even a good track car in comparison to previous generations.

As such, this gen car doesn't get a whole lot of activity.

I I understand it's not very popular with "more power!" people but not everybody needs or wants more power, it has plenty for everyday driving I love it! Pump assembly even looks good in the cardboard box too. Lol
