Asking for help here. I'm suspecting a problem with the ECU. Below is what information I have gathered. What else can I check?

J35A8 auto ECU and ignition switch w/immobilizer and key from 2008 TL type S
Harness from 04 TL repinned for that ecu
Adapted to 1996 EK chassis
OBD2 port added

Fuel pump runs for 2 seconds after key on
I cannot communicate with the ECU via scan tool.
Car cranks, but no start.

Voltage is present with key ON at ECU terminals A4, A10, D6, and D12.
Voltage is present with key ON at immobilizer connector terminal 6.
Voltage is present with key ON at C101 terminals 8, 9, and 10.
Voltage ALWAYS present at immobilizer connector terminal 7.
Voltage ALWAYS present at DLC terminal 16.

Ground always present at ECU terminals A1, A2, A3, and B15.
Ground always present at C101 terminals 1 and 23.
Ground always present at C102 terminals 4 and 31
Ground always present at DLC connector terminals 4 and 5.
Ground always present at Immobilizer connector terminal 1.

The car starts and runs with a J30A4 manual ecu, adapted engine harness, key, and immobilizer.

 

Did you by chance wire in the immobilizer light?

 

I did, but just found out that this car has an IMOES that reads the code and sends a confirmation to the ecu in addition to the immobilizer. So, no dice.
