I have a 1990 civic ex with a mini me swap. (D16A6 block with D16Z6 head) I have a feeling VTEC is not engaging but I don’t really know. I haven’t driven any other Honda with VTEC before so I don’t have a good comparison. I’m assuming I’d feel a change in power when it should kick in but I’ve read that it’s sometimes not noticeable. No cel, car runs and isles fine. Anyone?

It's not really dramatic, mine didn't pull any harder, just keep winding out until redline at 7.5k
