Odd A/C operation
I had the alternator replaced on my 2012 Odyssey. Everything is fine with electrical. However now my A/C is doing something very weird. With the climate control on and the display reading A/C OFF the air conditioner still cycles on and off. Happens when moving. or at least that what it seems like. While sitting and idling I can turn the A/C on and off with the A/C button.
Anyone ever heard or seen this?

That was exactly my experience with a 2012 Odyssey. If you turn the HVAC off completely the AC will stop cycling.
They are probably targeting some humidity level thus running the AC even with the AC commanded off.
