Default What turbo should i go to next?

I have a built bottom end gsr b18c1 with a gt28 turbo 750cc injectors, 340lph fuel pump. i was wondering on what turbos other people had on a similar setup. looking for more power. current turbo spools fast but can keep up with fbo v8’s top end.

I guess it depends on your target whp. What are you at currently? I’m also running a built GSR, with a typical t3/t4 .57 trim. From some of the searching I’ve done, the GT3071 or 3076r turbos are pretty decent for the mid power level people like us. The 3076 I hear provides a pretty decent spool on the street and plenty of top end flow. Not sure the age, but I think I remember a lot of people using the SC61 and having good results.

im not too strong in the turbo stuff, but do you think that JB version could provide a good spool for street use?

Many many choices out there. You have to really look at the budget constraints, purpose of the car, what do you mean by "more power," Etc. If you could give us a little bit more in terms of the purpose and goals of what you're trying to do, as well as the type of exhaust manifold and whether or not you're using air conditioning, would really help in determining what's available for you.

Also, the type of fuel that you need would be really nice. Please look at the FAQs for the force induction area ( highlighted in Gray) and there are two videos that ask you which questions you need to ask yourself before going to the next unit

if you need direct links to those I will gladly plant them to you so that you can get a more realistic notion of what it is you're looking for instead of just one or two names of turbochargers that could fit almost anything.

I'm running the JB version of the GTW3476 on a D-series and it spools nicely. I've recently changed to ethanol fuel and my datalogs show even sooner spool and boost onset vs running pump 93; by 500-600 rpm earlier all the way across. I'm set at 26psi and am hitting nearly 22psi before 5k rpm. By the time VTEC hits (5300) im already at 26. Lol. I have zero reason to believe this turbo would behave worse on a better flowing engine, like a GSR.. TheShodan brought up some good points as well though. Some things like P.S. and A.C., manifold choice, all crucial options that need to be considered also. Pretty much everything you'd look at prior to picking a turbo in the beginning; use, budget, goal, etc..
