Wont go into gear
I have a del sol with a b20 swap, it's got a hydraulic clutch. The throw out bearing went bad but was still drivable, I went ahead and decided to replace it. I replaced the clutch, flywheel and everything else while I was at it. I even put on a new slave cylinder and bled it out and it looks to work perfectly. After I replaced everything I went to try it out, I started it up and tried to put it in gear but it doesn't want to go in any gear, and when I try reverse it almost makes a grinding noise. With all that replaced and the car working perfectly fine before, what could be my problem?
Take a look at the release arm and make sure that when the clutch pedal is depressed, the release arm should move nearly 3/4". Also, is the release arm basically centered in the square opening of the clutch housing ? If it is not, there may be a problem with the pressure plate diaphragm.
