P1768 D4 flashing
Bought a 2000 civic vp with 180,000 miles, drove for a couple months before it stopped driving. Would Start normal but would whine and drive less than a qtr mile everytime. Had somebody look at it and said failed transmission and switched it out. I Thought he fully knew what he was doing but to find out he put a 98 civic dx transmission. Car now runs but it has slight jerks when shifting from P to R to D4. Throwing P1768 code and d4 flashing. Dont know much bout cars but found out their wiring to the ecu are different even though it's the same generation. Any suggestions. Seen something about obd2a to obd2b conversion but would that help.
