Default Please help. Any opinion can have an impact

Alright so about a week ago I was changing my throttle body on my 1998 Honda Civic lx with a d16y7. I thought I needed to mess with the fuel rail I know dumby boy i know. So I unhooked the starter and tried to turn the car over a couple times to depressurize the fuel lines. Well since then I put the car all back together and now the car won’t turn over. My engine isn’t seized my starter works fine I checked all that. When I put the key to the on position after the car sits for a while the check engine light will come on like normal but when I go to turn it over I hear a click around the glovebox area and then the check engine light goes out and the brake light turns on. After that initial turn I try turning it again and I get nothing, not a click not a noise nothing I’m hoping someone knows what’s going on because right now I’m really stuck and I’m trying to fix the car myself for myself and I’m really getting lost. Thank you for reading and I hope you have some sort of advise for me, anything would be helpful.

I don't know much about cars, but I do know that I am having a hard time understanding the problem that you are encountering. Are you afraid because you hear a clicking noise? Or does the car not start?
My initial guess is fuses.

There is a starter relay and a starter circuit. On your car, I'm not sure the location or the schematic but most likely you popped a fuse or burned something there. I'm also not sure what role the ECU plays in the starting circuit as you are OBD2 and all my experience is with OBD1.

Also, can you clarify, when you unhooked the starter, exactly how did you do that? Did you unbolt the main wire and remove the spade connector wire?

Oh and another thought, did you unhook the battery?
