Have a del sol d15b7 will crank but no start until you finally hear the fuel pump prime and then it runs. Sometimes it will be 30 seconds or 2 min and then your good till you **** the car off for more than 10 minutes it wont start again until you hear the duel pump prime. It's not the fuel relay I jumped it and primed the pump but wont start until relay engages on its own???
what engages the pgfm main relay??

 

A few quick questions?

o is it the original engine?

o have you changed the fuel filter on the pump and inside the engine bay?

I've had this problem before with my cars when they either in storage while i was deployed or it was because they were the original parts that started to go after almost 20 years of owning them.

Does it bog down when you give it gas?
