Default 15" or 16" wheel options

Guys,
I am having a heck of a time finding wheels for the R. What are our options here besides finding a unicorn set of mf10, volks in the right bolt pattern and size?
I was even going to settle for flow formed Konigs but they don't make 5 x 114.3 in anything smaller than 17".
What are your suggestions? I just want something somewhat light and strong. It is harder and harder, to find 15" wheels. Guess I can just keep the stock wheels.

Been there - kinda sucks nobody has flow formed options for ITR. I've been running Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in 15x7, +45. They are strong and light at 13 lb. Look good in gunmetal. Reasonable pricing.

There are quite a few guys selling new 15/16" Volks on instagram but with our canadian dollar they end up costing an arm and a leg. I picked up a set of CE28Ns on the Japanese Yahoo Auctions and had them shipped to me by Jesse Streeter. You can check on there.

Sounds like you are looking for cheap decent wheels. Velox has a few options that are not terrible and are inexpensive through costco. You can get buddy club P1's from JHP also - fairly cheap.

If you have JDM importers around you might be able to get a set of used volks or something.

I think I am going to stick with the stock wheels and use some small spacers. For my budget $2k and under, none of the options are really attractive. Different is not better in my eyes. OEM is still pretty good for me.
I have a hard time spending $3k on wheels and tires. Having said that, my S2000 has three sets of wheels lol

there’s an instagram account by the name of used.racingparts that posts a decent amount of 15’s and 16’s in 5x114.3 for under $2k. shipping iirc is a couple hundred due to him being overseas, but he’s got clean stuff and looks to be a legit seller. just looked on his page and there’s a set of bronze ce28’s in 16x7 +42 if you have instagram or were looking at other places.
