I'm doing an lsvtec swap on my ek. Its been over a decade since I've done my other ek and I'm lost. I remember when I did the swap I had to use a different throttle cable. I'm using a gsr head with skunk 2 intake manifold and skunk2 throttle body. With the skunk2 throttlw body what throttle cable and bracket should I use. Ive been reading to use si or type r. So which is the riggt one? Please help!! I'm pretty sure there are hundreds of you guys that did this swap before. Thanks in advance.

 

The ITR cable and bracket are going to fit the closest... you will have limited adjustment range in an EK. You may have to bend the bracket a bit to get it right.
