Default How to fix something that won't turn off the cheap and easy way

So my wipers wouldn't turn off unless I unplugged the fuse. I replaced the relay twice and also replaced the motor. None of that fixed the issue. So I decided to see if someone had made a fuse you can hook a switch to, and I found out it exists! So I got the fuse and wired a switch to it and now I can turn my wipers on and off with a separate switch and then change the speed on the steering wheel like normal.

What is the part called and where did you get it? One never knows where that could come in handy

It's called a Fuse Socket Connector Kit and it can be found on Amazon.

So you still have the original wiper stalk/switch?
Did you ever test it?
Do the wipers stay on when the car(ignition) is off?

Yep, still have the original switch. I find it unlikely to be the switch because the switch still has all the variable speeds working when I give the wipers power. I also don’t want to mess with replacing the switch, looks like too much work haha. I’ll just use my fuse switch. The wipers do turn off when the car is off.

If the switch contacts are stuck ON, that would be your problem.
