Default Oil on spark plug threads

Hello i have a f22b1 and i just replace my spark plugs my first one had oil on it but it was only on the threads of the plug there wasn't any on the boot or on the spark plug tube Walls all i can find a videos about the spark plug tube seal and i don't think it's that because of there not being oil in the tube

First thing you want to replace is the valve cover and spark plugs seals (usually come together in a kit). They are about $10-$15. Not too bad a job to do.

If that doesn't fix it....then it could be much more difficult to fix, as that would lead me to believe valve seals or piston blowby or basically something in the engine that is worn.

Here's the link to a 2000 valve cover and spark plug grommet kit, I'm only guessing since you didn't list car or year or engine size. So, this is for a 4cyl, 2000 accord.

oh thought i put it in its a f22b1 97 accord engine in a 97 civc

Anyway, same answer then, just find your year and replace the gaskets first.

okay thank you folks im gonna replace those get a some of the blue mechanic napkins soak up the oil and i dont have any smoke blowing so i dont think its position rings again thank you. I will be back with up date.
