I'm just waiting for my tax refund to hunt down a Del Sol Vtec. how much do they tend to go for in decent condition? I've been seeing prices all over the place.

 

I've seen them in rough condition for ~3k to perfect condition for ~10k. Bear in mind, if you buy one in rough condition, it'll likely cost you more in the long run to make it as nice as one that's in good condition.

 

Agreed. Most likely I'm going to talk to my boss and arrange a meeting with his BiL, professional car flipper, and see about making a deal with him. Once I have my tax refund, if I get what they say I will, I'll have $6300 to work with.
