Fork it, it keeps me in suspension
Hello fellow Honda fans,
Pertinents: stock EJ6
I was wondering if I could get some "real world" experiences from you all. I've been looking at the aftermarket drop forks but I realize I am not intending on being slammed- more of a modest lower- instead of the 4x4 look. I am piecing together my sususpension (all new parts). I think the only things I haven't purchased are the forks, knuckles, and rear brace. I may have gone slightly overboard but I figured.... if I am going to throw money into the pit- I might as well get something for my troubles. Guess you could say I'm going from the ground up on finally starting "my build". Any tips, suggestions, ect are welcome but please be civic errrr civil. Thank you in advance for helping me along this journey.

Thanks for the question! I'm upgrading pretty much the entire suspension. I'm mostly sure its all the original 99' hardware. A few years back (that feels so weird to say) I had a REAL close encounter with a tree limb that had fallen in the road. I've never been real confident whether or not anything had bent BUT as far as I can tell, nothing is broken- And yes after reading my own question I feel dumb for having to ask but I'm just gonna put it on here. The "WHY"... guess I figure since I am replacing everything else around the fork/knuckle area- maybe it would be a good time to replace them? I DO have the master poly bushing kit too.
its not typical to replace forks and knuckles since they arent considered wear items, unless you know they are damaged or bent.
but if you want to spend your money, thats up to you.
i think a poly bushing kit is a waste of money and time too. definitely not an upgrade.
