Registration will be no problem, but a little more then a US car. Insurance will be a bitch. Most ins companies either dont cover gray market cars at all, or a grossly higher premium. You should be able to get liability coverage, but comprehensive is a different story.

That is a smoking price though.

hmmm Import Tuner said(I know I know haha) the Aerospeed CTR is 215hp. Made in the UK and imported to Japan, then imported to the US for Aerospeed. Not saying you are right or wrong, and I dont know the correct answer, just going by what they say.

yea thoseprices are pretty damn good... 40k for an evo.. I'd buy it jsut to line up with a vette and smoke it in a 4 door haha

You can get them for about 35k actually, they usually run specials on them, like the 2 they have in the pupup ad.

The site said all CTR's sold in the US will be LHD.

yea man how are they makign money off these.. I think an evo in teh US when it comes is supposed to be liek 35? right? and thats the slightly detuned one. If these are jdm one... how do you get it legalized, because the evo doesn't apss US crash tests with the stock FMIC

Evo in japan is 25k msrp. Im sure they are getting it cheaper through connections. Arent the R's built in Europe or something? Anyway Im sure they can get deals since they are dealing in quantity. A friend of mine got his gsr for 14k out the door (new, 5 miles etc) since his dad works at honda. Maybe they have a deal going with the honda/mitsubishi from where they are importing them from. Since they are LHD, im guessing maybe germany or something along those lines.
