Icon5 Civic Distributer, 2000 into 1998

Hey guys, sort of a noob question, i have a 1998 Honda Civic and it has sat for a while and wont start again. It cranks but just wont turn over, from reading some other threads and stuff on the internet it seems like it is the distributor.
Im not really looking to fork out for a brand new one but there is a wrecked 2000 Ek1 Civic about an hour away with a whole distributor he can sell it me.
My question is will it be compatible? or am i more needing a specific 1998 one for my car?

Thanks let me know if you have any more questions

What makes you think that the distributor is your problem ? Do you have distributor related codes ? If not, the only thing left to consider is the coil... assuming you do not have spark. Coils are cheaper than complete distributors... and you will still have the OE housing and this foundation is VASTLY superior to anything you can buy at the auto parts store.
