EM1 swap power steering question!
Hey everybody! I recently use bought an EM1 with a obd1 95' gsr swap. It has a p72 ps pump and a p30 upper bracket and I believe it has an obd1 line as well. The problem I'm facing is that the pulley does not line up the the crank pulley. The ps pump is too short and doesn't rechristen far enough. Ive researched that it might be that I need a p72 upper bracket, but I've also heard that the b16 bracket and gsr bracket are the same thing. My question is if there is anyway to align them with washers and longer bolt? or do I need the p72 bracket? or would I need to use th original b16 pump it came with? If anybody has any experience or knowledge with this issue please let me know! Thank you
Photos... post some of what you describe. The B16 and GSR upper P/S brackets place the pump in the same location... the difference is only the tab length for the adjustment wing-nut. I suspect something else is wrong.
Something is definitely wrong there... how about some wider view pics showing the whole P/S pump and brackets... and maybe a close up of the crank pulley please.
