Default B-series "Top-Mounted" 3" Down Pipe Turbo Engine Setups. Show me what you got!

For all you folks running a top mount kit and 3” downpipe can you post a photo of your setup? Trying to get some ideas since I’ll be changing my setup from a full-race manifold and going to a 3” downpipe to get it away from my radiator and use a puller fan.

if my car was a every day street street car I would have done a full exhaust. Since I primary race it, it’s a no brainer to get rid of the weight and restriction

Unless you change your setup to like a ram horn style manifold or something of that nature you are going to have these issues. I used to run a ram horn manifold and had a 3in. down pipe with no radiator related issues. I built a friends car with a top mount from go autoworks and a 3in. down pipe and we have had similar issues( down pipe tried to melt the fan, down pipe was hitting the clutch slave cylinder causing the fluid to boil and loose the clutch on extended pulls). Now that being said on the ram horn setup I had to cut the upper core support to clear the waste gate. With these cars its really a battle to put any kind of turbo setup in them without having to cut anything, or running into cooling system issues.

that's also because of the fact that many of the manifold makers that made easier set ups to allow for more accessories have now called it quits. They've stopped, because of the fact that they'd found that more popular style manifolds (Like kooks or "mini-rams" were for those that just wanted to show off more and make more top-end power, and didn't consider these heating issues.)
