Default cruise crontrol swap questions

i have a 2000 civic Si with D16Y8 auto transmission that i am scrapping and parting out and im wondering if i can take the cruise control system out of it and use it in my standard B18C5 swapped Del sol? a couple of years ago i was reading about cruise control installs but i cant seem to find the thread that talked about swap compatibility. and do i absolutely have to use the oem wheel and controls? i had a momo steering wheel i wanted to use.

EDIT: i have found how to deal with the controls and have linked it below from D-series site

ok so i have found one of the old threads i had been researching on at https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-.../#post36595023 but it specifically talks about 92-95 i know this info is spot on for installing into my del sol but some of the parts seem different in my 2000 and i cant find if the system will be or could be made compatible or if i need to get a setup from an earlier model civic or del sol.

but still cant find out if i can use the system from my 2000 automatic in the del sol.
i know its different parts but does anyone know if it can be used or do i need an older system?

ok so what ive gathered so far from the helms diagnosis and electrical diagrams and searching online is that the cruise control is a closed system running off of its own control unit which in turn operates the actuator to pull or release the gas pedal to keep the car at a set speed based on input from the speed sensor. so i feel that if i bring over the entire system that it should work still in the same way, and that at worst i would need to modify my auto one with a clutch switch and may have to splice or repin a connector or two.

since i cant find any threads anywhere about someone trying this does anyone know anything im missing about this that will make it obviously NOT work that im missing before i go diving head first in this attempt?
