Default Difference in IACV between obd1 and obd2?

So my IACV needs to be replaced on my 99 civic ex (d16y8) - I'm finding that they are a bit more expensive than the ones for a 92-95 civic but look the same. I'm reading online that the OBD1 ones are 2 wire and the OBD2 are three.. however mine is OBD2 and two wire. Can I use one of the ones that would fit the 2 wire plug? They look identical to the one I have but all the parts matching things say it won't fit.

Any advice?
