Accidentally hit the clutch pedal while the slave was unbolted, what now?
Hey guys, so while the engine and trans was out of my 97 Sol, the day before I put everything back in, I somehow managed to hit the clutch pedal while the slave was unbolted
. So what do I do to get it back to normal. This is the first manual I've had with a hydraulic clutch, so I'm a little unsure on how to go about it. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. TIA

That's what I figured but I wasn't totally sure. I have everything back together now, so all I have to do is bleed the system like normal then?
Yeah, I believe you are just getting any air trapped by putting the piston back in, out of the system.
And it's a good idea to bleed every couple of year anyway to get water out. Water tends to build up in the slave for some reason over lengths of time.

Pull clutch pedal back with your hands
Bolt the Master back on
push the rod back intot he slave
bolt the slave to the transmission
bleed it until theres no more aire
