Hi I'm building a b18c1 and in the prosses of taking out the oil squirters 2 of them came out fine with the dowel pin and 2 came out with the dowl pins still in the block. Is this a normal occurence or what. Can I just reinstall the squirters on to the dowls and they will be fine or do I have to get the dowl pins out first. I have built a few motors but no gsr with oil squirts so just asking for some advice so I dont screw it up. Thanks in advance.

 

You can re-install the oil squirters with the dowels still in the block. Just make sure you put the squirter in straight over the dowel pin... mis-alignment may cause damage.

 

Oh cool so I can rotate ito get it started and then use the bolt to drive it down
