Hello. I have a Civic GL 89 with a dualcarb and I have problems with replacing the dashboard. I bought a gauge cluster from the injection restyle civic. I know that you need to rewire cluster for injector dash, but the wires from my Civic do not match the diagram I found on this site (https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-...hatch-2821961/) They have a different arrangement of wires and maybe colors. Does anyone have a photo or diagram where I can find out how to re-strip this dash? (My original GL dash and wires on foto.) Sorry for bad english and thanks in advance.
I swapped fitted an injected D16z6 drivetrain & wiring from a '91 Japan built Concerto into my 1.5l dual carb '91 Civic Hatch so had to identify both the sets of wires into the Civic's original cluster, so here's what I wrote down if deciphering it doesn't drive you crazy.
Probably not very useful though since I know some wires were changed for the facelift instrument cluster (late '89)..
So avoiding other tasks I thought I'd better sort out Concerto wiring fitted to '91 Civic to refit its proper cluster
Not sure that info will be of much use to others given rarity of Concerto here & significant differences between Japanese & British built cars....
