When I worked at a Honda powerhouse dealership I acquired a Honda Ruckus with ignition wires cut and Vin number scratched off. It had been sitting there at the shop for at least 3-5 years they let me have it. I had new keys made for it. I'm guessing it's a 08-13. I would like to know how to re wire the ignition wiring to the key switch. Idk if I need a whole new ignition or what. Tired of it just sitting there would like to take it on trips to ride around. If anyone can help that'd be great.

 

Replying to get this thread going again because I just had the same thing happen. They cut the wiring to the ignition switch and for some reason took the connector plug with them. I ordered a replacement plug from www.rollingwrenchdenver.com and I think I can just reattach the wires to the new plug but I'm looking at the wiring diagram and can't tell which side of the plug each wire is supposed to go into. There's a R/G and a R/Bl but the diagram doesn't make it clear which side is which in relation to the ignition switch itself.

Looking for some guidance as well.
