Anybody here know how much is involved in turning a 1980-1983 Civic Automatic car into a Stick Shift?
Stands to reason I would need a complete parts car but has anyone on here done this? I have a lift and can do anything mechanical/body related.
Been looking for a 2 door stick 1980-83 and cant find a decent one, only automatics.

Depending where you're located (or if you wanna pay for shipping); I could sell you most/all of the conversion parts you'll need from my 83 1500S parts-car.

 

I will keep that in mind. Am in Maryland. Haven't bought a car yet in part because I want a stick. Will let you know if I need anything from the S.

I know this is a long shot, but would you happen to know where I could purchase a clean example? My dad’s been looking for a 1500s ever since he sold his. I’m located in British Columbia but would be willing to fly or drive!
