Default 95 civic buildup (low budget build)

So

I bought this civic for the low, I since been fixing dents and rust. And I put on the muffler tip

I ordered all things for timing job seals belt pump etc, also ordered all new front suspension balljoints arms etc.

I want to drop the car a few inches but wanna keep the project low buck. Got less than 1k with all parts ordered. 167k miles on it

people seem to be happy with progress coilovers, and "decent" is subjective and doesn't really go well with cheapest

Based on how much rust you had and the location; while it’s jacked up I would look at the floor board under the rear passenger seat. That metal too may need to be cut out and replaced. I have a little bit of rust there as well and mine has similar rust around the wheel wells. Check it out while you’re there. 👍🏽

So this is what I got done today on the project car, noticed the inner joint was binding.

what do u guys think I have a set of used axles off a 97 civic, should I use those or should I get one from advance auto. I dont really want to go into there again for a while after everything is replaced.

More to come tomorrow

Axles are cheap today for a stock setup, buy new. $16 to $40 from Rock Auto. Don't waste time with some used axles at this price range.

Picking up set for 63 shipped. This thing will handle/be amazing when I'm through

No pics but got otherside stripped out as well. Have to remove lower control arms tomorrow
