Icon4 D Series Transmission- Seeking Information

I just purchase a K4F P4A B000 for my 2000 Honda Civic Ex (D16y8). My original transmission has pops and grinds, I know B000 stamps for an EX/Si Transmission. I need to know if the P4A B000 I bought will have the same performance as my old transmission. I want to keep the performance of my car, I need to know if I bought a good transmission. Of course the gears will act a little different but will the acceleration will be just as good. I read other people saying the P4A B000 is the fuel economy transmission and I hope not. Please confirm my question.
