Hey guys/gals...I drive an 03 civic HX, 165k miles. It’s bone stock and only buy genuine Honda parts...even the oil filter.
The CEL came on months ago with the P1420 code. Found a thread on here to test it, after following the instructions and clearing it, it stayed off for about 7-8 months. She started feeling sluggish this week and the light came back. The procedure to test if the TWC cats are actually clogged didn’t clear the light this time

what are my options? The TWC is $1300 and I can’t find any alternatives. I’d hate to punch out the honey combs and put in an anti fouler to fool the sensor, but I don’t know if I have a choice or if that will even work.
